Swiping over game objects

Hi all,

Trying to make a mechanic where if you swipe over the screen, any objects that the swipe hits will disappear. Do I need to use a collider for this or will one of the gestures work? I can only seem to create a reaction from objects if the tap begins on them. If the touch input is started somewhere else and then travels over them I cant work out to get a response from the object.

Do I need to use Gesture.GetTargetHitResult Method (Vector2, TouchHit)? If so I;'m not sure how to implemented these methods. Does this go on a script attached to my objects that are going to be hit?

It may be a hack but maybe its easier to create a collider that follows my touch and removes everything that is hit?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
